A Feed, when discussing the wiki, refers to a certain kind of post wall or blog where users can share wiki articles that they like or that are of note.
Articles that appear in global feeds will show a list of those feeds near the bottom of the article.
A feed lists articles that have been shared there. Shared entries can be embedded on the feed page as a preview or a large portion of the article's content without having to click through to read the article.
Thus feeds provide users with a way to scroll through and read multiple wiki articles at a time without having to open those articles individually.
Feeds are usually used to organize articles that the user finds interesting, for users to make custom lists, for user blogs, or for news.
Feeds list their entries in reverse chronological order by the date each entry was added to the feed. Thus new shares on the feed appear first, even if the article was written a long time ago. In this way, feeds can also be used to promote older articles that may still be relevant.
