2. Adding Chapters to Books

The second method of adding a wiki article to a Book lets you do so while you are viewing the book page by using the "Add Chapter" menu.

To add any existing wiki article to the book, use the "Add Existing Page" menu option. You can use the resulting overlay to search for and select existing wiki articles. You will only be able to see articles for which you have permission to change its books.

When you find the article you want to add, click the "+" icon next to it. When you are happy with your selections, click "Update" to update the Book and save your changes.

If you have permission to create new pages or other article content, you can create one by clicking the appropriate link in the "Add Chapter" menu. You will be forwarded to the editor for your new article so that you can enter a title, text, and other options. Once you are satisfied with your creation, click "Create New Page" to submit and add it to the book.

You will be returned to the book where you can see your new addition(s) in the table of contents.
