      How to change link colors?

      A quick question, I'd like to change the link colors used in VW to say, blue as I have global link colors set to black in stylevars in vB. I set the link colors used in postbit in the forum by adding:

      Code:
      .postcontent a {color:#0645ad;}
      }
      to additional.css in vBulletin. I can't for the life of me work out how to change the link colors used in VW, being black they don't stand out from the rest of the articles' text.

      I've searched this forum and found THIS question had already been asked. I've tried changing the colors in vw-link.css as suggested but they have no effect on the links. Any help with this would be much appreciated!

      If that is the case, it's possible your additional.css (or other custom CSS) is causing a parse error which means that an CSS after the error won't be applied. In your example above you have an extra }, which might just be a copying error, but if that's a real part of your additional.css it will cause problems.

      Also, when modifying the vw-link.css, make sure you are not simply adding your own rules to the end. You need to actually change the existing rules in that template because most browsers will apply the "most-qualified" rule regardless of the order the rules actually appear.

      If your CSS is stored as files and you are using an external CDN or you have multiple clientscript folders on your site, make sure to copy the vaultwiki*.css and vw-*.css files to those locations as well.

      Make sure the files were actually written to the folder, and that they include your modifications. Some admins turn off PHP's permission to write to the file system if it's outside the install/upgrade process.

      No, that's just a typo above. There's no extra } added to my additional.css

      I am modifying vw-links.css directly and not adding my own rules to the end and we don't use a CDN at all nor have multiple clientscript folders.

      I'm still none-the-wiser as to what I need to change in vw-links (or should I be looking elsewhere?) to change link colours in VaultWiki.

      You said you were adding:
      .postcontent a
      The correct selector is:
      .postbody a
      This should really already be inherited automatically unless you have a highly customized style where the designer renamed all the default CSS classes.
