Category Problem

I just added a category called sculptor. When I go and try to add the bbcode to certain articles (for instance, wrap it around the word sculptor in an article), after saving, the word sculptor disappears in the article...

This is expected behavior. In this case the BB-Code is used to add the page to the category, and not to insert any text. If you wanted to insert a link, you should use:

Code:

[category=Sculptor]Sculptor[/category]

This variation will not add the page to the category.

So when you click on the category in the article, I see a heading for pages in category "xxxx".

Shouldn't the articles that have that particular category being showing up? I have zero showing on my page, but I have put the BB-code for a particular tag in 3 articles...

This is a common issue that we are unable to reproduce. We are trying to find a common denominator among the users experiencing the issue. Please PM or post a list of your forum's installed modifications.
