You don't need to do that.

Upgrade to vB4 while VaultWiki is already installed on your vB3 forum. When the upgrade to vB4 is complete, run VaultWiki's upgrade script for the version you already have, like it was time to upgrade VaultWiki. The script will make the necessary updates.

If you also need to upgrade VW3 to VW4, and you don't have the upgrade script for VW3, I recommend doing this BEFORE you upgrade to vB4:

      1. Install VW4 on your vB3 site, while VW3 is still installed too.
      2. Run the VW4's import script for VW3.
      3. Upgrade vB3 to vB4.
      4. Run VW4's upgrade script again.

Since it sounds like you are planning a big update, you might want to consider our Install, Import, or Upgrade services (see Members > Services > Order a Service) for the VaultWiki side of things (steps 1, 2, or 4). You probably should also test the whole process on a cloned test board first.

I have a test environment to make some test before doing it in real. But before I post this topic I upgraded first the forum to vb4 and after I installed the vw for vb4, so I can't see any data of the vw that was running with the vb3 version

It is not really clear to me what you have done already.

If you uninstalled VaultWiki before upgrading to vB4, then your wiki data was removed by the uninstall and it is probably lost forever (unless you have a backup).

There is no real difference between VW for vB3 or vB4. It is the same product. If VW is already installed on vB3, and you upgrade vB3 to vB4, then the only thing you need to do is visit the VW upgrade script you already have, so that it can load the templates, etc, because vB4 has a different style.

Since it looks like you're using VW3: Visit /vault/install/upgrade.php. If it's not there, re-upload the /vault/install directory from whatever ZIP you have. VW3 versions are no longer available for download; it was retired January 7, 2014. If you can't get this directory for your version, then your only recourse will be to convert your VW3 installation to VW4.

You are not showing an active license for VW4, so I am not going to confuse you with import instructions right now. All I will say is that VW3 is not supported any more, it is not safe to use, and you should install VW4 and import your VW3 data as soon as you can.

So, what do I need to do to make you all the process of upgrading the wiki? Do I have to wait to you until you upgrade the vw or I can make the upgrade process of the vbulletin to vb4 alone and then you make the upgrade of the vw? (of course, ordering the service in your web)

Another question I have is if vw is responsive to display in mobile devices.

vBulletin does not provide a responsive style, so VaultWiki is not responsive on vBulletin's styles. vBulletin does provide a mobile style and VaultWiki works with this.

Yes, you can upgrade the forum and afterwards leave the whole wiki upgrade process to us. You will need two services:
      - Install Service (unless you do that part yourself)
      - Import Service

I will upgrade my forum, leaving the wiki with the old version installed and then I will purchase the upgrade service for the wiki, and I understand that you will do all the steps to upgrade the wiki to the a new version according to the vbulletin 4 version I will install.

      Is correct what I'm saying?

No, it depends on your version:

      1. Leave your wiki with the old version installed.
      2. Upgrade your forum.
      3. Renew your VaultWiki license, or purchase a new license.

Is your old wiki: VaultWiki 3.0.21 or lower?

      4. Install VaultWiki 4 or purchase the "Install" service.
      5. Purchase the "Import" service. Not the upgrade service.

Or, is your old wiki: VaultWiki 4.0.0 Alpha 1 or higher?

      4. Purchase the "Upgrade" service.

I have the vaultwiki 3.0.10 version installed already in the vbulletin 4 version. So I have to purchase only the upgrade service. Is this correct?

You must install VaultWiki 4.0.9 on vBulletin 4. After you do it, you will have two VaultWikis at the same time: VaultWiki 3.0.10 and VaultWiki 4.0.9.

You must purchase the Import service. Under "Order a Service," see: https://www.vaultwiki.org/members/?do=service

Ok. If I want to buy the full product but with no subscription, how can I get the product? Just purchasing with one month of subscription? or is there an option to buy with no subscription added?

      Hi

I have purchased the one month subscription but I don't see the place where to download the wiki. Can you tell me the link, please?

      Thank you
