Is there a template?
Printable View
You can see this on the Source tab of that article. It's not a template but a separate BB-Code:
Code:[widget]Multi-page-auto|title="Page 1" duration="1" label="Automatic Playing Widget"|Got some fresh content for you guys!
|- title="Page Two" duration="2" | Here's page two!
|- title="Page III" duration="3" | The third piece... this will seal their fate.[/widget]
Ok, thx !!!!
Can this created without "autoplay" ?
Yes, take "-auto" out of the widget name.
Where can i find detailed information to the Content-Types? E.g. what are island pages, what are books, etc.
This is the screenshots gallery:
This is what it does:Code:[gallery] widths="180px" heights="100px" feature="true" perrow="3" rows="1" |
Image:vw-main-screen.jpg|The wiki index is an editable starting point for all your wiki content.
Image:vw-article-screen.jpg|Work together to build engaging content for your members.
Image:vw-edit-screen.jpg|Use the editing tools you're already familiar with to create your pages.
Image:vw-discuss-screen.jpg|Leave comments on any wiki page, or start new threads under it. All using your forum's existing posting tools and post layouts.
Image:vw-history-screen.jpg|A detailed history of changes is kept for each page, so you can review or reverse changes as needed.
Image:vw-header-screen.jpg|Insert wiki content in other parts of your site, like above a forum's thread list.
Image:vw-book-screen.jpg|Organize wiki content in a variety of ways, using provided grouping features like Books.
Image:vw-spaceman-screen.jpg|Manage the wiki structure visually via the wiki's admin interface.
Image:vw-permissions-screen.jpg|Grant group permissions, define moderators, and apply user masks to control access to tools and content with precision.

The "feature" attribute makes the "featured" preview at the top. Defining both "perrow" and "rows" so that there's not enough room for every image makes it scrollable.
I had never noticed this tool before. Please post a feature request for that.
Hi,
how can i change the font-size and the font-color for the H-Settings ?
H1 is very big for my layout...
You should avoid using H1 inside articles. It splits articles into chunks. So making the H1 smaller won't work fully because there will still be spaces between the chunks.
But all the sizes are defined in the vw-section.css template.
If you want to override anything, I recommend putting the overrides in the vw-additional.css template. This way you won't have too many style conflicts when you upgrade.
Some details for most Content Types are in their descriptions in AdminCP > Wiki > Structures > Content Types.
There are even more details in our Manual, but we're still writing that. Here are a few descriptions:
Areas: https://www.vaultwiki.org/pages/Help...VW4:Wiki-Areas
Synonyms: https://www.vaultwiki.org/pages/Help...s-for-Articles
Categories: https://www.vaultwiki.org/pages/Help...-to-Categories
Feeds: https://www.vaultwiki.org/pages/Help...ction-to-Feeds
Books: https://www.vaultwiki.org/pages/Help...ction-to-Books
OK, thanks.
One more question: There is no info about the island pages. What kind of content-type are island-pages and for what can they be used ?
"Island Pages" from VW3 were renamed "Anonymous Pages" in VW4. If you see text anywhere talking about "Island Pages" instead, it should be reported as a bug, just for being confusing.
The admin page has this to say about Anonymous Pages:
Quote:
The URLs for Anonymous pages don't include the page's title. In general, they do not interact with other wiki pages and cannot be linked to without knowing the page's full URL. Since wiki pages cannot usually share titles, this is useful if you want to use wiki functionality for a page but don't want to use up that title.
