How long should the installer take?

It seems to be stuck at step 17 which comes after installing_phrase_group

If the browser no longer shows any indication that something is loading, then an error has occurred. If you cannot see the error, it might appear in your error logs. However, if you have a lot of add-ons, or some server settings (like timeouts) are set low, then the script might simply timeout when it asks XenForo to rebuild the phrase map.

Looking at it now, I think this step is actually unnecessary since XenForo 1.2 (which is the lowest version we support now), since we use the deferred rebuilder and it is called in a later step. You can try to reload the installer a few times to see if it continues. If not, add ?step=18 to the URL to proceed manually. Once step 18 is done completely (if it says next_batch it's not done) you can return to the automated installer by removing the URL parameters and refreshing without resubmitting any POST parameters.

Most xenforo sites run a lot of addons to make up for missing functionality.
After previous issues with server time outs I have adapted anything possible to prevent such, which seems to work until now.
Refreshing results in the process hanging on the same step.
/admin.php?wiki/install?step=18 leads to the xenforo admincp

You cannot have 2 question marks in a URL. If there is already a ?, use &step=18 instead.
