      VW for VB 4.2.0 Questions

      Hi

I've seen a few threads about this, but I not seeing consistent information or I don't understand.

Is there a version of vault wiki for vb 4.2.0 that is released yet? If so is that the lite versions or real version?

Or do I have to wait for Vault Wiki 4 to be release?

There is already a version of VaultWiki that works with vBulletin 3.6 - 4.2.x. This is VaultWiki 3.x, and it is the only version of VaultWiki that users can buy right now. VaultWiki 3 does not work with vBulletin 5. The Lite version that you can find right now is a variant of VaultWiki 3.x.

There is a new version of VaultWiki that is not released yet (VaultWiki 4); that only works with vBulletin 4.x right now, but when it is released, it will also work with vBulletin 5 and other versions and other forum softwares.

Okay, where can I get the lite VW version 3.x that works with 4.2.x?

      Is this it here: http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showt...239377&page=31

If so when I attempt to install it Vbulletin tells me that its not compatible or do you think something else is wrong? I know this is not your support section, let me know if I need to post somewhere else.

If you are getting this error message, it means VaultWiki already exists in your database, at least partially. If the installation was only partially completed, you will need to manually remove VaultWiki to try installing again. Here is a link to the database queries that will remove VaultWiki tables: https://www.vaultwiki.org/issues/2920/#note15396

If VaultWiki actually shows up in your Product Manager, you will have to remove that entry too. Note that the uninstall process would fail if you already removed the tables manually, so you would need to clear the uninstall code by editing VaultWiki in the Product Manager, before you could successfully click "Uninstall".

Any update to this? I'm in a similar boat.
