      Renaming uploaded images?

I have a series of images:

      bfl-1
      bfl-2
      bfl-3
      bfl-4
      ... 185

I need to rename the image files and the pages.
How can I do this without downloading all 185 and renaming the files, then re-uploading them?

You could rename them on your server.

Use your FTP program, or control panel (cPanel), I think that something like this could be done by CP also. But FTP programs should be able to do this. I'm using Total Commander, it can do this with files on disk, don't see why it can't do this on server.

Must admit that I'm not 100% sure, never tried to do this.

The filename is stored in the database, not the FTP server, so it wouldn't be possible to do it that way. Now, that mickknutson mentions it, I don't think it's possible to rename wiki images at this time.
