      How to Add Subchapters??

Haven't seen this covered in the manual at all. I'm trying to add subchapters (ie: 1.1, 5.2, 5.2.1 etc) but cannot find an option to do so. Any help?

In order to add a sub-chapter, navigate to the chapter you want to add it to, and follow the same process you normally use to add new chapters to books. However, there is one rule: in order to receive a sub-chapter, the chapter must also be a book.

So I will essentially be adding a large number of forums?

If you want to, you can. Or you can just create the Book/Chapters in the same forum.

I see, so the forums have no bearing on a book's organizational structure, but they can be used to segregate books/pages.

Is it possible to show subchapters more than 2 levels deep? I added a subchapter to 1.1, but it's not showing in the main index.

At this time I believe that 2 levels deep is the max that can be shown based on how books are saved. However, this is a limit we are working on improving soon

Alright, so I'll just have to be creative and scale chapters back a little.

Is there a way to deny permissions on certain pages only? Let's say guests can view forum #1, but not forum #2, could I put "private" wiki books/pages in forum #2 and prevent guests from viewing those pages?

You can certainly do it that way. I would not put private and non-private pages in the same book though. Since the pages have a meaningful order to them, this could make the book unreadable.
