Adding more article sorting options?

As far as I can see, Wiki articles can be sorted either by clicking on one of the 'column headers' (Title, Article Creator, Comments, Views, Last Post By), or by using one of the sort options listed under the Page Display Options (on the bottom of the page).

Each article in our Wiki deals with a different book of a certain author (and therefore has the title of that particular book). They are currently displayed alphabetically in ascending order, but it would be great if we could also display them chronologically, i.e. by year of publication. Or for example, sort the articles by 'binding' of the books (paperback vs. hardback).

Is it possible for us to add additional sorting options like these ourselves?

You can tag articles with the Category feature: https://www.vaultwiki.org/books/Categories-Admin

[category]Paperback[/category]
[category]1972[/category]
[category]Author A[/category]

You can view the category pages and it will show all articles that have that tag, in alphabetical order. You can edit category pages themselves and organize them in a similar fashion.
