      Unset "Category" in namespace

I didn't realize that there can be only one category namespace and I set that up for one of my "standard" (article containing) namespaces. I'd like to move that function to a dedicated namespace but I can't select "category" on the new one or unselect "category" on the old.

      How should/could/would I accomplish this?

Also, while I'm asking, what I am ultimately trying to do is create a more wiki-like appearance for my wiki. I'd like to eliminate the thread view completely.

It's set at the top level and the article level by default and I was figuring that the categories would fix the middle layer if used properly.

      Any advice would be appreciated.

      Thank you,

      1. Create the new Category namespace as a regular namespace so that it appears in the namespace list.
      2. Below the namespace list is a box called "Namespace Functions". You can change what namespace has the Category function here. Just select the new namespace, and click "Update Functions".

      1. To eliminate the thread view, you would create a landing page for each sub-forum in your wiki.
      2. Go to AdminCP > Forums & Moderators > Forum Manager and edit the wiki forum you're removing the thread list for.
      3. For the setting called "Forum Link", enter the full URL to the landing page you created in step 1.
      4. Save.
