How to add Google +1 Button?

I was wondering which template I need to edit in order to show the google +1 button.

That depends. Where exactly do you want to show it? Screenshot would be best.

Yes, but where at the top? What menu bar or box do you want to add it to? Most pages are made from over 20 different templates.

One box at The top right would be perfect.
