Promote a wiki article to CMS front page

I thought there's a discussion about this already but could not find it. So here it goes: How do I promote a wiki article to CMS front page?

You need a separate modification for this. It's at vbulletin.org somewhere, it lets you promote threads to CMS articles.

I have that hack which only allows a normal forum to be promote, not a wiki forum. Shouldn't wiki have this as a core feature?

The same tools would also be available in a wiki forum. If they are done as forum inline moderation, it should be in the list. If you need the thread tools menu, it's on an article's comments tab.

I do not see the "Promote to front page" in wiki article, that line appears only in a normal article post

Unfortunately I have lost track of the modification, so I can't check the code to tell you what needs to be changed to work with the wiki.
