Hi all,
I plan to introduce a template on my site that's based on the Warning Box Template but includes an image instead of the word "Note".
Provided the image is either uploaded to the wiki's Image name space or to a server directory [does this matter?].
The image will serve as an icon, denoting:
etc.
- A Warning = warning box template including a Warning Icon at the afore mentioned space = Template Name: Warningbox
- An Idea = warning box template including an Idea Icon at the afore mentioned space = Template Name: Ideabox
- A Topic Under Construction = warning box template including a Construction Icon at the afore mentioned space = Template Name: Constructionbox
- Request for Help = warning box template including a Help Icon at the afore mentioned space = Template Name: Helpbox
Following the list above I plan to save each category as an individual template, each still based on the Warning Box Template but referencable by different names, as indicated above.
To be more precise; the reference to the template is included in wiki articles as follows:
<TemplateIntro><Name Template><ImageReference><text><CloseTemplate>
Obviously, as not to screw things up here, I replaced the "['s" in the original syntax with other characters but the codex remains. What's critical to my question here is: How to include an icon within that <imageReference> space?
Once conquered I am planning - with Pegasus' permission - to post these templates as 'take-aways' with icons included. For all to use. Happy to give back!
Thanks!
