I don't think it's because the header forum is hidden. There are no separate permissions for "seeing" the header. The header forum is hidden on most boards and on this site it is working fine for guests. It's possible that the auto-template edit isn't working all the time. Do you have any template edits that modify the threadslist table? It's also possible the header is not being associated with that forum correctly.

However, I still find it very strange that you are able to see the Header as an admin. Let me know once you have updated to the new version. Forums headers have more stable connections in VaultWiki 3.

I got the upgrade on nice and easy, it looks like guests can see the headers now. You can check out the xfloat if you like.

Sorry about all those notices, we are doing some voting on the best Stephen King book right and those should expire very soon.

The SPAM filter is a bit aggressive because the site was bombarded with porn SPAM when it became popular. We don't turn any live people away.

And you should be able to see the wiki's as a guest to the site so I would be interested to know if that isn't the case.

Feel free to contact me using the link for it and I'd be happy to set you up. We love meeting new King fans.

Hmmm...I am not seeing it that way for some reason, all I see is the code. I may need to clear cookies but it is indeed Mr. King with some books.

I can see it it now. Peg no matter what I do header keeps showing as N/A and I cannot edit or create any headers for the one forum I have activated in. HEADER shows in that particular forum but there is no where to create one. Nevermind, I see, my text is the same color as that areas background thats why I can see the edit feature.

Are wiki headers supposed to show in non-wiki forums?

I'm getting Wiki headers in all my forums, and threads. I just want them in the wiki area. I've double checked Forum Manager, "Enable wiki in this forum" is disabled, yet the header is still there.

Regardless of the Wiki-enabled setting, a header will appear in the forum if

"Show wiki headers in this forum?" is Yes.

      Hey Pegasus

I know this is a different issue but I hated to start a new thread and a search of the site or images in the upload didn't yield an answer.

Is there anyway to get that cool little vault door icon back? My members loved it and the new version is just the pencil. This is on the main forum page. I see the added little pencil if the wiki is a sub forum, they seem to go together so having the vault door back may not be possible.

You can try using the GDK to replace the pencil icon with the vault door. You should be able to get a copy of the old icons by downloading a 2.5.x ZIP. Using the GDK (available in our addons forums), you should then be able to do the switch somewhat painlessly (although the old icons were not made the same way, so isolating the door may be a little time consuming).
