      .htaccess

To alleviate the confusion, could someone please post an example of actual .htaccess files (with actual values) for the latest version of VaultWiki assuming that forums are in /forums and wiki is in /wiki

      Thanks.

      Same here:

I am struggling with understanding the .htaccess rewrite requirements where my configuration is:

      http://gblcg.com = main page
      http://gblcg.com/wiki = wiki main page.

I renamed the 'vault' file 'wiki.'

An example would be very helpful, also referring to the location of the .htaccess file in question.

      Thanks!

      Hi,

You should not physically rename the file for showwiki.php, just change the setting. Since the .htaccess configuration varies immensely depending on the combination of your setting values, it's nearly impossible for anyone on the site to give you .htaccess help unless you post the values of your VaultWiki: Server Settings. But, that should rarely be necessary in VaultWiki 3.

Once you have the settings you want, to get the reference to the .htaccess files and their contents, in your AdminCP go to: VaultWiki > Initial Wiki Setup > Mod-Rewrite Generator.
