      Hello Pegasus,

      Yes!!
Removed the three lines you mentioned.

And now it is working. Here is the test page that was just created.

      What do you suggest?
Do I use it like that?

I was searching around the server, and saw that the Joomla! part of the site has its own .htaccess file.

      Could this cause the problem?

      Joomla!'s .htaccess file is inside
      public_html/cms/.htaccess

      vB's and VaultWiki's is inside
      public_html/forums/.htaccess

It is perfectly okay to use it like that if you are okay with it.

If you absolutely must use simple URLs, I would recommend allowing someone with more experience manipulate your .htaccess - sometimes, especially with multiple .htaccess files, this can be confusing even for experienced users. You can always send me a PM about doing this so we can rule out possible conflicts with Joomla and other products you may be using.

But like I said, this is not a required step to use the wiki - it is about getting several advanced options to work on your server, if you want to use them.

      Hello Pegasus,

Thank you very much for all your help!
The wiki is working perfectly now.

We'll re-check out settings in the future... as we will probably be removing the Joomla part of the site soon. So there is no need to fret over integration with it.

      Thank you very much!
I'll write a Vault Wiki review for CES soon!
