      Question Another upgrade question

      I am going to upgrade my Forbidden wiki from 2.3.0 Patch Level 1..... to 2.50 BUT I am a little confused by the instructions of 'If you had a version earlier than 2.3.0, delete the contents of your forum's /vault/install directory'.

      Do I have to do this?

      You don't have to do it.

      Question A spacing question

      I know this is very minor but aesthetically speaking it's driving me cuckoo.

      On my yet to be updated forbidden Wiki, notice in the image where there is a slight space under Hide Top

      YET

      on my updated Lamp Wiki there is no space in the same area.

      How do I get a slight space back there? Right now, HIDE & TOP sit right on the line.

      This is the code in clientscript/special_important.css that affects this:
      Code:
      h2 .top_link { margin-top: .3em; }
      h3 .top_link { margin-top: .2em; }
      h4 .top_link { margin-top: .13em; }
      So, to combat this, you could try "margin-bottom" in your Wiki CSS rules to push the margin back.

      I'm not sure I unserstand this, do you mean to change these values to

      h2 .top_link { margin-bottom: .3em; }
      h3 .top_link { margin-bottom: .2em; }
      h4 .top_link { margin-bottom: .13em; }
      ?????

      Yes, but don't change them in the file. Put the values in AdminCP -> CES VaultWiki -> Wiki Style Manager -> Wiki CSS -> vault_css_sections

      Yup the only problem is that the special css file will be overwritten on your next upgrade. You'll want to make a note of this so you can make the changes again in the future.
