*Where* is the "previous edit awaiting approval"?

Hi,

After upgrade, VaultWiki set itself to require approval for all edits. I've undone this now a user's alerted me to the problem, but in the meantime users have made edits, so several articles are locked -

"You cannot edit this article at this time because there is currently a previous edit awaiting approval."

The help for this option says that the edit can be approved in the article's 'history' tab. It can't - it isn't visible there. Nor is it visible under the main 'moderation options' in Vb's admin control panel. 'Wiki Moderation' in admin just shows me a great list of locked articles with links to their history tabs - where these edits awaiting approval do not show. They don't seem to be recorded anywhere.

I can un-protect each article manually, I think, but I cannot recover these invisible edits. I hope they're not completely lost, as that would be very embarrassing. Help?
