Trying to integrate Passive Videos into Vault Wiki

I have Passive Video working on my site:
      http://www.blincmagazine.com/forum/n...html#post81152

I also have passive video enabled on my wiki forum, but when I post a video, it does not get processed:

      http://www.blincmagazine.com/forum/w...gs&redirect=no
At the end of the Effect Section

How can I get my videos to show up in the wiki forums?

Go to AdminCP -> vBulletin Options -> vBulletin Options -> VaultWiki: Legacy Options. For "Enable Legacy Hooks?", check:
      editpost_update_start
      newthread_post_start

You will probably need to edit the article again, since Passive Video doesn't do it on runtime through the BB-Code parser - which it really should - by creating a wrapper for the URL tag.

      That did not work.
      http://www.blincmagazine.com/forum/w...gs&redirect=no

I used the [youtube] tag within my bbcode to solve this for youTube videos, but I have videos all over the world. So passiveVideo has many more options.

I also tried every one of the check boxes with no luck.

Also create a clone of Passive Video's postbit_display_complete plugin, at vault_postbit_complete.

Again, you should contact the creator of the mod to rewrite it using a wrapper for the URL function, rather than calling preg_replaces on message saves. It's simpler and integrates smoothly with other message types.

I saw this question so I thougth I would add to this video question by asking (I have vbtube pro) and I was wondering if I can use the emb code in wiki? Example

      <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://mysite.net/mediaplayer/player.swf" width="425" height="362"><param name="movie" value="http://mysite.net/mediaplayer/player.swf" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#000000" /><param name="FlashVars" value="file=http://mysite.net/vbtube/upload/flv/24294059.flv&autoplay=false&width=425&height=362&v olume=80&site=0&vorschau=http://mysite.net/vbtube/upload/thumb/24294059.jpg"/></object>

Is this possible? Does html have to be activated? I hope not. I also have the url but is it a wapper I need from the coder?

You will not be able to use the above HTML code if HTML is disabled. If that is the output of a BB-Code, then it will be fine. If it doesn't use BB-Code my question is why not?

VaultWiki articles will not be compatible with mods that only modify content on saving actions, because articles are not saved in a conventional way like regular posts.

No there is no BB code so to speak for vbtube pro, I know nothing about video or Murat's code in vbtube but I do know the embed code as I posted about can be used if I allowed HTML which I will not.... so that leaves me with needing a BB code to insert as a URL.

I just posted over at vbtube for the BB code solution.

vbtube allows for you own uploaded video, mp3's, images and youtube... but I only allow uploaded to the server video (I shut off all other features) youtube deletes video very quickly on my controversial subject matter as you may guess.

So I will wait and see what Murat says... I just want to embed a few from my own server uploaded videos in a few wikis', here and there.

      Thanks peg
