      Questions About Compatability

I currently use a portal system called vbPortal. My main question is as to whether there will be a clash between the two products?

Obviously, purchasing the product to just test if there is a clash is no good, so any suggestions on how to identify if there is a clash or not?

Secondly, I'm keen to know how languages can be supported within this wiki system. I have two main languages used on my current board, and I have the capability within MediaWiki of being able to have multiple languages and appropriate links between the two. Do you have this compatibility, or plans to introduce it?

Thirdly... how do you create a second row for the BBCodes? Automatic with VaultWiki or not?

      Thanks in advance.

We do not use vbPortal and cannot determine if there is a clash. However, if you install it and there happens to be a clash with vbPortal, we can work with you to solve it.

I am not positive how MediaWiki handles multiple languages. Currently the only way this would be possible in VaultWiki is by creating a Namespace for each language, thus having 2 copies of an article, 1 for each language.

The second row for BB-Codes is simply a template mod. This should be available at vb.org. Try searching for "sid's newline editor buttons" or something to that effect.

Thanks for the info. Is it worth me testing out the lite version on my backup first, and then upgrading, or going for the premium package straight away?

Honestly, the Lite version is not a very good example of the current product. It is a very old version with most features removed.
