With version 2.3.1, VaultWiki is now 100% compatible with vbSEO. VaultWiki now sports a new protection level, that prevents edits by users who did not create the article. We have also fixed a number of smaller bugs, as well as the article cloning bug.

In the past, customers may have been hesitant to install because forums with vbSEO required some hacking to get VaultWiki to work. But the newest version of VaultWiki will seamlessly integrate with your existing vBulletin forum running vbSEO.

However, please note that if you are upgrading, you will need to modify your .htaccess rules for version 2.3.1. ...

Yesterday we implemented a coupon field in the shopping cart. When users purchase items, they can enter a valid coupon code for a certain discount.

The first set of coupon codes we have created is for VaultWiki - Premium package. By entering a valid code, a shopper can purchase VaultWiki at $5.00 off each premium license.

When a user purchases VaultWiki Premium, a new coupon code is generated and associated with their account. If you own a VaultWiki license, this coupon code will be listed in your Members Area, next to your License Number - it's called a "Referral ID". Existing customers can blog about VaultWiki and post their Referral IDs to be used as a coupon code.

In addition to the benefits to the customer, there are some to the user whose account has that Referral ID. If a new customer purchases VaultWiki Premium using your account's Referral ID, you will receive a 10% commission on the sale into your PayPal account within 30 days (less PayPal's fees), provided the customer is not issued a refund within that time.
Feel free to use this coupon code in your blogs, your signatures on other sites, and post about your experiences with VaultWiki. However, make sure that you abide by the rules and regulations of the site where you are making your post. Do not post any coupon codes on vaultwiki.org, crackedeggstudios.com, or freeunitedclubofkids.com.

When you link back to this site, link directly to the VaultWiki product page, inserting your own coupon code:

With 2.3.0, we've reached a milestone in VaultWiki's development. We've created a more streamlined install and upgrade process, and updated a number of existing features. Caching improvements have been made for big boards.

Also in this release are a number of cross-site scripting (XSS) fixes, so we HIGHLY recommend upgrading as soon as you can.

We believe the 2.3.x series will begin a new era of stability for VaultWiki's life, which is especially welcome after the extremely buggy 2.2.x series.

The VaultWiki Manual has been written to help users understand how to use the product. The Categories, Images, and Xpages addons have been updated for the release. Parser Extensions is now available.

As was mentioned about two weeks ago in a blog post, VaultWiki 2.3.x will be the last major feature release for the current VaultWiki family. Over the next few months, we will be rewriting the product for the coming release of vBulletin 4.x. Both vBulletin 4.x and VaultWiki 3.x are scheduled for release this summer. ...

Just released a new build of VaultWiki, 2.2.3. This doesn't contain any database changes. It is mainly a maintenance release that seeks to fix bugs in features that were added in the past two versions. There should be a slight performance improvement for editors.

The setting "Time Limit for Editing Wiki Articles" has been removed. This has really served no purpose since the Protect tab was introduced in the 2.1.x series. ...

The new build of VaultWiki solves some issues that have concerned many users since the mod's creation. While a useful feature to be able to access articles from various URLs, it was very bad for search engine optimization, because multiple URLs pointing to the same content had to share in search engine results, and as a result, did not appear as high as they could have.

VaultWiki 2.2.2 is an SEO-centric release. There are not very many new features, and very few other bugs were fixed, but we think these changes were worth not holding back. It is likely after installing 2.2.2 that you will want to make .htaccess changes (these are discussed in the documentation).

Also in 2.2.2 is a feature that adds an article's Thread Prefix to its title - so basically the prefix is added to the URL.

If you were waiting to purchase VaultWiki for any reason, we recommend buying now. It's $60 for the full package, and can be found here: VaultWiki. ...

VaultWiki 2.2.1 has been released. It fixes many obscure bugs present in 2.2.0 and earlier versions. In addition, it adds a much needed revision data manager, as well as a special page that lists all the Wiki BB-Codes.

With the release of 2.2.1 comes 2 addons that have been on the "Coming Soon" list for months. If you have Categories or Images installed, wait until the build is no longer "Unstable" before you upgrade. ...

We had to make a number of changes to our Members Area to satisfy how the Arsenal has changed. It is now possible to purchase multiple VaultWiki licenses. From the Members Area page, you can now select which license to connect various addons to (if you purchase these separately from the Premium package). You can purchase multiple upgrades or license renewals and select which licenses to apply these to.

The store is almost complete. We will be adding a number of shipping options (for physical items) in the next few days. Right now all orders will use our standard shipping method.

Because there have been significant changes with the way the store works, we are currently unsure whether all orders will be processed 100% automatically. In the event of an error, a staff member will process your order manually. Unfortunately in the past 4 years, PayPal does not seem to have fixed their developer sandbox, so we cannot fully test the automatic payment confirmations without enabling it in a live environment and making real purchases. ...
