With 2.3.0, we've reached a milestone in VaultWiki's development. We've created a more streamlined install and upgrade process, and updated a number of existing features. Caching improvements have been made for big boards.
Also in this release are a number of cross-site scripting (XSS) fixes, so we HIGHLY recommend upgrading as soon as you can.
We believe the 2.3.x series will begin a new era of stability for VaultWiki's life, which is especially welcome after the extremely buggy 2.2.x series.
The VaultWiki Manual has been written to help users understand how to use the product. The Categories, Images, and Xpages addons have been updated for the release. Parser Extensions is now available.
As was mentioned about two weeks ago in a blog post, VaultWiki 2.3.x will be the last major feature release for the current VaultWiki family. Over the next few months, we will be rewriting the product for the coming release of vBulletin 4.x. Both vBulletin 4.x and VaultWiki 3.x are scheduled for release this summer.
