VaultWiki: Article Display Options

This setting group from the vBulletin options will allow the Administrator to change how VaultWiki articles look.
Enable AJAX Wiki Tabs
The tabbed style for wiki pages allows each of the tabs to load via AJAX, rather than loading a new browser page. When AJAX tabs are enabled, changing tabs will require fewer HTTP requests because a large portion of the browser window has already been requested, loaded, and rendered.
Some forum styles may or may not fit well with a fully AJAX system. With AJAX enabled, the browser's Back button doesn't take users to the previously visited tab, but rather to the last page that was not loaded via AJAX.
Because in many cases a browser refresh is needed anyway, some tabs will not use AJAX even if it is enabled. The Edit tab and the Index tab are two examples.
Show Book Table of Contents in Chapters
The Book Table of Contents contains a list of all chapters contained in the current Book and appears at the bottom of the Book's index. By enabling this setting, this list will also be inserted into the Table of Contents of each chapter.
Display Book Navigation Links
When viewing the chapters of a Book, three navigation links are potentially inserted into the chapter page. These links allow visitors to move between chapters or return to the Book index.
This setting controls the placement of those links:
- Below Article
- Above Article
