Editors can link two different language pages together, flagging them as translations of each other. Users with permissions to create pages can create new translations, but if you want to change the page that already counts as a translation to a different page, you need permission to modify language settings.

Can modify wiki page language settings?

Editors can link two different language pages together, flagging them as translations of each other. Users with permissions to create pages can create new translations, but if you want to change the page that already counts as a translation to a different page, you need permission to modify language settings.

    Can edit wiki articles?

This permission allows members of this group to create new articles or to edit the first post of an article in a VaultWiki-enabled forum.

Can view source of wiki pages?

The user can view the raw BB-Code text of a wiki page, even if the user can't edit a wiki page because they don't have permission, or the page is protected or has pending edits.

    Can view article history?

This permission allows members of this group to view the edit history of the first post of an article in a VaultWiki-enabled forum.

Since some Special pages, like Recentchanges and Contributions, allow users to view portions of article history, this permission is also used in part to allow members to view those pages.

    Can protect wiki articles?

This permission allows members of this group to modify the protection settings of articles in a VaultWiki-enabled forum, provided existing protection also allows them to do so.

Protection settings control who can view, edit, or perform other operations on an article once it has been created. These settings are applied on a per-article basis.

Can restore wiki articles to previous versions?

This permission allows members of this group to undo recent modifications to the first post of an article in a VaultWiki-enabled forum, replacing the current text with an older version of the text.

This permission is only useful if a member of this group also has permission to View Article History, because the Undo links all appear on History pages. Thus, the user can view previous versions of the article to make an appropriate decision.

    Can edit article titles?

This permission allows members of this group to rename articles in a VaultWiki-enabled forum.

The consequences of renaming articles can be great if the article exists in a system namespace, this ability is only available to members deemed responsible enough to consider the wiki as a whole when taking such action.

    Follow Edit Moderation Rules
If no, wiki edits are always placed into moderation queue.

If you disable this option then all wiki edits made by members of this group will go into the moderation queue. You will need to validate their edits via the History tab before the changes are applied to the article and before any further edits to the article can be made.

The permissions in this group are also available on a per-forum basis through the Forum Permissions page, which override the general settings here. To modify those, in your AdminCP, go to Forums & Moderators > Forum Permissions.
