These are the official instructions for the Installation of CES VaultWiki Images. These instructions are subject to change over time, between releases of the software.
IMPORTANT! Always back up your files and your MySQL database before attempting to install a modification.
[h=2]Upgrading[/h]
Follow the instructions for a new installation.
[h=2]Installation[/h]
These are the installation instructions for version 1.0.0 Beta 2.
[h=3]File Uploads[/h]
Extract the contents of ces_spec_img.zip to a local directory. Upload the files contained in the /upload directory to your server.
[h=3]Install the Product[/h]
Log into vBulletin's AdminCP and import the product-ces_spec_img.xml file.
[h=3]Create Namespace[/h]
For new installations, you may want to create new forums for your images if you don't already have a forum you want to use. You will need at least one forum where the Parent Forum is set to "No Parent." You will not be able to [help=Vault Type]Enable Wiki[/help] in these forums using the "Wiki" value until a parent forum is connected to the namespace via the Namespace Manager (see below).
In the CES VaultWiki navgroup, open the Namespace Manager. For new installations, you should "Add New Namespace" that will contain your wiki's images and fill out the settings however you like, selecting one of the forums you created earlier here. If you are upgrading, make sure the settings here are correct. Once you have saved the namespace, note the Namespace ID in the leftmost column of the manager. It will be needed shortly.
New installations can now go back to the Forum Manager and set the appropriate forums to "Wiki." Keep in mind that the forum selected in the Namespace Manager must be set to "Wiki."
[h=3]Modification Settings[/h]
In the vBulletin Options navgroup, open vBulletin Options, and select CES VaultWiki Images. Set the option "The Namespace ID of the Image namespace" to the Namespace ID we noted earlier. If you are upgrading from 1.0.0 Beta 1, you can delete the directories you created in the previous installation; they are no longer needed.
The setting relating to thumbnail width and height will override your existing vBulletin settings for all images attached to articles in the Image namespace. Keep that in mind when changing these values.
Return to the Namespace Manager, and next to your Image namespace, click "Rebuild." -
