[h=3]File Uploads[/h]
Extract the contents of ces_spec_img.zip to a local directory. Upload the files contained in the /upload directory to your server.
[h=3]Install the Product[/h]
Log into vBulletin's AdminCP and import the product-ces_spec_img.xml file.
[h=3]Create Namespace[/h]
For new installations, you may want to create new forums for your images if you don't already have a forum you want to use. You will need at least one forum where the Parent Forum is set to "No Parent." You will not be able to [help=Vault Type[/help]Enable Wiki[/help] in these forums using the "Wiki" value until a parent forum is connected to the namespace via the Namespace Manager.
In the CES VaultWiki navgroup, open the Namespace Manager. For new installations, you should "Add New Namespace" that will contain your wiki's images and fill out the settings however you like, selecting one of the forums you created earlier here. If you are upgrading, make sure the settings here are correct. Once you have saved the namespace, note the Namespace ID in the leftmost column of the manager. It will be needed shortly.
New installations can now go back to the Forum Manager and set the appropriate forums to "Wiki." Keep in mind that the forum selected in the Namespace Manager must be set to "Wiki."
[h=3]Modification Settings[/h]
In the vBulletin Options navgroup, open vBulletin Options, and select CES VaultWiki Images. Set the option "The Namespace ID of the Image namespace" to the Namespace ID we noted earlier. You will also have to set a number of paths here. This will be where VaultWiki will store the images. Make sure that the folders you specify exist and, except for the vBulletin path, are set to CHMOD 777. The vBulletin path should point to your vBulletin root directory, and the other paths should be relative to that path. -
+
The settings relating to thumbnail width and height will override your existing vBulletin settings in all forums. Keep that in mind when changing these values. -
When you are sure all the settings are correct, return to the Namespace Manager, and next to your Image namespace, click "Rebuild." -

[h=3]File Edits[/h]
If installing or upgrading to version 1.0.0 Beta 2 or if you have recently updated any of the following vBulletin files, you will need to perform some file edits to get thumbnails working properly.
In includes/class_image.php, find:
if ($this->is_valid_thumbnail_extension(file_extension($filename)))
Add before:
// CES VaultWiki Images - File Edit
if ($maxwidth == $this->registry->options['attachthumbssize'] AND $maxheight == $maxwidth)
{
$maxwidth = $this->registry->options['vaulti_thumb_width'];
$maxheight = $this->registry->options['vaulti_thumb_height'];
}
[h=3]Rebuild Thumbnails[/h]
If you had existing Image articles from 1.0.0 Beta 1, in the AdminCP, go to Maintenance -> Update Counters -> Rebuild Attachment Thumbnails, and run this process. -
[h=3]Installation Complete[/h]
CES VaultWiki Images has been successfully installed.
