    Permissions Mask

The first thing you need to do is created a Usergroup that will be used as a Social Group Mask. Anyone who joins a Social Group that can create pages will automatically be added to this group.

To create the mask, visit Usergroups > Add New Usergroup and fill out the form. Keep in mind that this one group will be used by all Social Groups at once.

Make sure that the Usergroup has "Public (Joinable) Custom Usergroups" set to "No". When you're ready, save the Usergroup.

    Make Forums Group-Ready

You can create a new forum or allow groups to create articles in an existing wiki forum. Go to Forums & Moderators > Forum Manager.

When editing a forum's settings, you'll see the option "Allow Group Pages in this wiki forum?" Set this to "Yes".

    Applying Settings

Go to vBulletin Options > vBulletin Options (or Settings > Options in vBulletin 4) and open the setting group called "VaultWiki: General Settings".

For the setting "Social Group Mask", select the Usergroup you created earlier.

For the setting "Default Forum for Group Pages", select one of the forums in the provided menu.

    Group Creation Permissions

Group pages are allowed on a group-by-group basis. Before a group can start writing articles, it has to be enabled by the group's creator. Who has access to this setting is controlled by a new Usergroup Permission.

Visit Usergroups > Usergroup Manager. Select one of your Usergroups, whose members should be allowed to enable wiki functionality in Social Groups created by them.

For the VaultWiki Miscellaneous Permissions setting, "Can create social groups with group pages?", select "Yes" and save.
