These are the official instructions for the Installation of CES VaultWiki Categories. These instructions are subject to change over time, between releases of the software.
IMPORTANT! Always back up your files and your MySQL database before attempting to install a modification.
Upgrading
Follow the instructions for a new installation.
Installation
These are the installation instructions for version 1.1.0.
File Uploads
Extract the contents of ces_spec_cat.zip to a local directory. Upload the files contained in the /upload directory to your server.
Install the Product
Log into vBulletin's AdminCP and import the product-ces_spec_cat.xml file.
Create Namespace
If you are upgrading, you can skip this step. Otherwise, Visit AdminCP -> CES VaultWiki -> Namespace Manager. Click "Add New Namespace" and fill out the settings however you like - choose a simple Title and BB-Code Tag like "Category" and "category" respectively.
For Top-Level forum, choose "Create New Forum".
Where it asks if the namespace should perform a special function, select "Category namespace".
Click "Save", fill in the details for a new forum, and submit.
Installation Complete
CES VaultWiki Categories has been successfully installed.
