2. Moderating Edits

Some edits will not be applied to articles immediately, like when a user who has the permission "Follow Edit Moderation Rules" set to 'No'. In this case, no further edits can be made to the article until a moderator reviews the changes.

Moderators can visit VaultWiki > Wiki Moderation to see a list of articles where edits are pending review. The Moderator must have permission to "Restore Wiki Articles to Previous Versions".

Clicking any link on this page will take you to that article's History tab.

Once there, you can use the tools on the History tab to view the new version of the page or compare it with a previous version. How to do this is discussed in the help page for the History tab.

When you have made a decision, click "(approve)". This will bring up a form that asks you what you want to do with the edit:

• Approve the most recent version
  
• Unapprove the most recent version

If you approve, the Article tab will be updated with the new version. If you don't, the changes will be ignored. Either way, users will be able to edit the article again.
