Before users can begin working together on an article, someone needs to initially create it. There are multiple ways to create an article:
- You can attempt to visit the URL of an article that doesn't already exist. The article will say "There is no text in this page", but you can change that by clicking the "Edit" tab.

- Visit the forum where you want to create an article. Like creating a thread, click the 'New Thread' button.

- Visit any article in the forum where you want to create an article. From the wiki Navbar menu, select 'Post New Article'.

If you clicked 'New Thread' or 'Post New Article', you will be prompted to enter a Title before continuing. With the exception of articles created in an Island forum, you will want to enter a Title that will be unique to the article.

If available, you can also select a Thread Prefix here.
If there is more than one forum in the namespace, you may also be asked to confirm the forum location where you are saving the article.
Once you complete this form, click 'Start Editing' to continue to the Edit tab.
