This site login in issues

Login form does not display fields properly

When I log in here, the log in form does not clear the username field when I click on it. I need to manually erase the field. The password field remains in the clear instead of having the password attribute with the symbols in place of letters.

The log in actually functions correctly, but the cosmetics are disturbing.

Update on this issue. This morning the home page displayed a prolonged loading with the Firefox loading indicator remaining on for 3 or 4 minutes. I clicked on it to terminate the load. The page appeared complete. The log in behavior was the same as reported above. However, when I navigated to the forum page the log in worked correctly by clearing the username field on focus and filling the password field with symbols on tab.

I have seen the prolonged loading on sites using Google stats.

Confirmed that this behavior exists only on the home page. However, it appears that it disappears if the browser has a primed cache by visiting another page on the site first, then using on-site navigation to reach the home page. It seems that a vB_XHTML_Ready event is not firing.
