Meta-tag description showing image path
The meta-tag description is showing the image path, which is undesirable as it offers no value and looks bad in SERPs.
I was wondering why Google SERPs was showing an image path in the description for my Wiki pages. As images are used dominantly in my Wiki articles pages at the top prior to the ToC. Turns out that the software doesn't strip the image path when it adds it to the meta-tag for description. Personally, I don't think anyone would want this as it looks ugly in SERPs and adds no value to even encourage user's to click it. So could this be fixed for the next update?
