      Can't Post Attachements!

      Can post attachements anywhere on the forum. But inside the vaultwiki I get a window with permission denied message, so I can't upload attachements inside articles of vaultwiki.

      Using Vbulletin 4.1.5 and vaultwiki 3.0.13. Just upgraded vaultwiki, a previous version of vaultwiki was installed earlier (don't know if attachements worked then, only ready to use vault wiki now).

      Please advise, thanks!

      Attachments are working for me fine here under vBulletin 4.1.5. What button are you clicking to get the window?
      The editor's paperclip button, or the image button? Or the big Manage Attachments button? If the Manage Attachments button is showing then it should be working. I don't think the editor takes the permissions correctly.

      Okay I've updated it so permissions are now consistent between editor buttons and Manage Attachments. This is for 3.0.14. I don't know yet if this was your issue, please answer my previous questions.

      I click on the attachements button, the one in the top row, it looks like a paperclip.

      When I click on it, a new window opens up. This is the url:
      Code:
      http://mysite.com/forum/newattachment.php?do=assetmanager&values[p]=483417&editpost=1&contenttypeid=&poststarttime=1313649007&posthash=42bca85006
      This page gives a permission denied error.

      Let me know if that helps.

      Below the editor is another section called "Additional Options". Is there a heading with a "Manage Attachments" button here? If not, then the permission denied message is actually correct, and the paperclip icon being there is the bug.

      There is "manage attachments" button below. I've clicked on it and get the exact same error. Window pops up giving permission error. Url popup is
      Code:
      http://mysite.com/forum/newattachment.php?do=assetmanager&values[p]=483417&editpost=1&contenttypeid=&poststarttime=1313656601&posthash=0e4a965d6704ea663c4524c5df80c36b&insertinline=1

      While I'm at it. Bb-code is not being parsed inside the wiki. Checked the Wiki Code Manager, and there everything is one. Still, when I do this

      [H]This is headline[/H]

      it shows: [H]This is headline[/H]

      Why not parsed?

      [H] is not a valid BB-Code tag. I don't know why the editor is inserting that. See: https://www.vaultwiki.org/threads/5173/#post13644

      Your CMS content type cache is out of date, so the Attachment Manager doesn't know what the wiki content type is, and it's giving you a "friendly" no permission error rather than a database error. In your AdminCP > Plugins & Products, go to the Product Manager. Disable VaultWiki. Then enable it. This will rebuild the content types in memory.

      I think the only way to get the content type cache out of date and reproduce the error is:
      1. Disable VaultWiki.
      2. Upgrade VaultWiki while it was disabled.

      The upgrade re-enables VaultWiki. Since VaultWiki only builds the content type cache when it actually changes the cache, the wiki content type is not re-added to the cache.

      I am updating the upgrade script to update the cache every time because of this case. Marking as fixed.

      [H] => okay, I didn't know I had to a add a number. Maybe it would be a good idea to explain that in the popup screen when you click on the h button in the bar where it has bold/italic etc.

      I did indeed upgrade vaultwiki while it was disabled. I just disabled vaultwiki and then re-enabled it, but I still get the same error. What do you suggest?

      Great support by the way, much better than the guys at vbulletin.com

      Okay, I got it to work by installing the latest patch for vbulletin (4.1.5 => 4.1.5 patch 1).

      Thanks again!

      Confirmed, there is a bug in vBulletin. In admincp/plugin.php, find:
      Code:
      	vB_Cache::instance()->purge('vb_types.types');
      Add after:
      Code:
      	vB_Cache::instance()->shutdown();
      Then, disable and re-enable.
