      Auto-subscribe to article, after edit

It would be useful to have the option to automatically subscribe to wikis you edit.

If the subscribe options are not appearing in the Edit tab under vBulletin 3, then this is a bug.

This is a feature request. The function would be similar to automatic thread subscription in forum and should work as follows:
A setting should be in userCP for automatic wiki subscription
If this is setting on, then the user will be automatically subscribed to all wikis the users edits.
So the user will be alerted of all changes to those wiki articles.

Already marked as In Progress. In VaultWiki 4, we have applied a mechanism to automatically create subscriptions during edits or posts if the subscription options form didn't show on the edit view (e.g. quick edit). Just need to add an option to the UserCP so people can turn it off, and have the options form default to the UserCP settings...

Closing since the mechanism already exists and is in place. Opened a new issue to track completion of the UserCP option: https://www.vaultwiki.org/issues/2456/

This was not fully implemented. Please add a setting in the XenForo Messaging Preferences to receive emails for Watched wiki content.

The setting is already on /account/preferences, which is the correct semantic location for this setting under XenForo. The Contact Details > Messaging Preferences section is for allowing other users to contact you. Settings related to watch notifications appear on the main "Preferences" form.

I see. I did not find it on that page because I expected it to be with the other Watch Options.

For uniformity it would be nice to have it there with the rest of the watch options, because that's where members will look for it. To make it completely uniform it could be phrased like this:

Automatically watch wiki that you create, edit or when you comment...
and receive email notifications of edits & comments.
