      Navigation problem?

When the Wiki link that is across the top of the wiki is clicked we are getting a 404 not found error. I don't think this has to do with the recent upgrade because I thought it was working ok. But I might be wrong about that.

(I am referring to the Wiki link that takes you back to the main wiki, it has the little house looking icon next to it)

In vBulletin's AdminCP, go to Settings > Options > Cookies and HTTP Header Options > Force Latest IE Mode. Set to Yes.
I do not have this as an option, I guess that will come with a newer version. Upgrading is on my list of things to do, I guess I will need to do it sooner than I had planned.

Sorry, which part is happening again? The issue from the first post or the last issue you mention in this thread?

The issue is not actually resolved until the next release, but it's likely any file edits you had made to fix this before were reverted when we fixed the problem you had with your images not showing up. I've made the appropriate edits again so you shouldn't have the issue again until you get the real fix when you upgrade.

Also, if you have been making file edits with Notepad, you will need to use a different tool in the future, since Notepad has a habit of adding something called "BOM" to PHP files and that breaks them. Notepad++ or any dedicated source editor is usually okay.

Thank you for fixing that for me!

Yes, I figured that out about notepad, I have been using notepad++ for the last week or so.

I am now having a new problem with this same breadcrumb mentioned in the original post. Now when that link is clicked, it takes you back to an OLD index page, not the current one. And of course that old index does not work properly.

I have not touched any of my scripts so this should not be a notepad issue this time (plus I am not using it anymore anyway).

If you have a server-side HTML cache, it should be disabled for dynamic content, like wiki pages. Otherwise, I don't see how a different version of the page would show, since the URL is almost exactly the same, and is not the correct URL to view old versions of the page.

Also, have you tried updating to one of the newer releases? This report says that all the relevant fixes were added to Gamma 6 (current release is Gamma 7), and your site still shows that Gamma 5 is installed.

I don't know anything about html cache and how I would disable that?

It actually IS a different URL... but I can't show it because some how or another it is working again. I do not know what fixed it but its fixed. Clearly gremlins!

Yes, I know I need to upgrade, I am getting the money together to pay for the upgrade service, probably in the next week or so. Thanks.

I still don't understand how that older page is even still there. I know you removed all of the old pages when you did my last upgrade.
