All imported (MediaWiki) articles attributed to ME

Hello. I recently attempted to migrate all of our wiki data to VaultWiki from a MediaWiki installation (Which was integrated with vBulletin). The import appears to have worked fine, but all articles and revisions (and everything) are listed as having been created by my user account and not the user who actually performed the action.

Is this the intended action or did something go wrong?

OK - Saving the main namespace seems to have corrected the linking issues we were seeing.

The Image forum is inheriting permissions from our main "Wiki" forum, but all groups are allowed to view thumbnails in that parent forum (And in all child forums). Still thumbnail images are not showing.

If you have Firebug, right-click one of the broken images and look at the path for the IMG tag itself (attachment.php...) Remove everything except the attachmentid from the end of the URL. If you visit this page, do you get a permissions error or another message?

      ex. http://badgerandblade.com/vb/attachm...hmentid=171100

I can see the full image just fine (IE no &thumb=1) but the minute the thumbnail parameter is added, I just get a blank page.

Also - I just now tailed the error log to see if the attachment script was saving anything there (It's not, BTW) and noticed that the error log is chock full of
      Code:
      [01-Jun-2011 10:26:40] PHP Fatal error:  Call to a member function add_tag() on a non-object in /home/user/public_html/vb/vault/plugins/assetmanage.php on line 33
      Just FYI.

Blank page or 1x1 transparent image? If it's blank as admin, it sounds like vBulletin was unable to generate thumbnails for these attachments for one reason or another. I would normally suggest rebuilding thumbnails and checking for errors, but you have quite a large forum, so I'll need to create a separate thumbnail builder.

The add_tag error was previously reported and is already fixed for the next release. It only appears in logs I believe and doesn't affect the user experience.

The blank images are definitely blank images and not a transparent image. I only know this, because viewing the page in Chrome shows me the icon usually associated with a missing or corrupt image.

Good to know about the add_tag error.

I hate to be a nuisance, but I've discovered another issue.

      On this page http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showwiki.php?title=Water

The thumbnail under "Water Hardness" is trying to pull from http://badgerandblade.com/vb/attachm...&stc=1&thumb=1, which is obviously incorrect. I wonder what went wrong in the import to cause that?

Does the full image HardnessMap.gif work when you click the icon?

      No.

The URL for the thumbnail image is http://badgerandblade.com/vb/attachm...&stc=1&thumb=1
and the URL for the full image is http://badgerandblade.com/vb/attachm...ntid=&d=&stc=1

In that case this image was probably not imported. It might be oversized compared to your attachment settings. You can try uploading it manually at showwiki.php?title=Image:HardnessMap.gif to see what the issue might be.

Just a bit of an update here: I think we've got something misconfigured in the settings.

Please view our sandbox article: http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showwiki.php?title=Sandbox

Under and to the right of the large picture of the razors, I have edited the article and added the code to display a thumbnail in the article. You can see t he thumbnail container there, but there is no thumbnail image. If you click the spot where the thumbnail should be, you are shown the full version of the image in the popup.

This is with a fresh image upload and has nothing to do with imported data. Please email me at my email address in my profile and I can give you administrator access to take a look, if you want. We need to get this wiki back up in a bad way.

      Thanks

Just found another problem. It looks like vaultwiki doesn't support sort keys (http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Help:Categories#Sort_key) which were also used heavily in our wiki.

Link a page that uses sort keys and I will add support when I look into your thumbnail issue.

      Sure.

At the bottom of http://badgerandblade.com/vb/showwik...rs have_Lotion

The categories all have |Jermyn on them. This is the sort key. This is messing up the URL (Adding _Jermyn to the end) and the |Jermyn should not be showing in the text.

Sending you the site info now.

Okay, fixed categories with sort keys and rebuilt your wiki thumbnails. Don't really know why it didn't create them the first time around yet.

Working on galleries now. I'll get back to fixing for newly created thumbnails once your wiki is presentable.
