After upgrading VW to XF2, what are the post upgrades checks and steps? The manual doesn't list this.
I see that the recent activity widget doesn't have any content. Do I need to run certain rebuilds?

VaultWiki is basically the same between XF1 and XF2, except having access to XF2 features.
There's not a lot that is actually changed by the upgrade process:
- The only thing I usually have to check is that Sidebar Blocks were converted into Widgets. Since you describe the Recent Activity widget, it sounds like this worked out.
- If you had Wiki Areas displayed in your forum list, you might have to add these again. In XF2, these are handled by adding wiki nodes to the node list, like you're adding a new forum. Please let me know if you need to do this so I can make adjustments to the upgrade script for the future.
- Wiki moderators should also be listed in the main XF2 moderators. You encountered an error while processing moderators, so this might need a look.
As far as not seeing any content in the Recent Activity widget, this is typically caused by a Javascript error (check browser console) or a PHP error. If there are neither, the next thing I check is that VW Javascript is being loaded at all. For the Recent Activity widget, your browser should have loaded a file at js/vw/vw/feed.js (or some min/compiled variation). If this didn't happen, make sure the base VW Javascript js/vw/vw/base.js is loading. Sometimes I have the same problem on my sites but it is due to a local networking issue (browser tries to use IPv6 even though the ISP doesn't provide IPv6 connectivity).
