Does VW on XF2.1 have any RSS functionality?

Question as it says on the tin really.

I'm working on some discord bots to integrate with XFs API. In the absence of this I might be able to do some RSS scraping for alerts etc to specific discord channels.

In AdminCP > Setup > Options > VaultWiki: Notifications, check "Enable external feeds?"

Then most pages will have RSS feeds which shows new content on that page including any new child pages.

An area will list new pages in that area.
A book would list new chapters in that book
The index would list new pages from all areas.
A feed would list new entries in that feed.
etc.

The RSS is usually linked somewhere in a page's head tag, but it generally follows the format:
wiki-url?do=feed

Fixed your site and the next build. This was caused by a bad merge of the patch for VWE-2018-4630 into the 4.1.x branch.

How exactly do you fix an issue like this? Does applying the new patch fix it on its own?

Yes, if you apply a new build or a new patch to your site, you should automatically gain the benefit of any issues that were fixed in the build notes.

You only need to run a full Upgrade through your add-ons manager if you are updating to a completely new version from the one you already have.
