      Watching pages - child pages

      What is the Child Pages under the Watch options?

      Is there a way to watch and area and see new pages posted within it? (Because if it's the child pages it doesnt work)

      That is the correct watch option to get notifications of new pages in an area.

      This was a bug, and is now fixed in the next version. In vault/core/model/cron/deferred/chainsubalert/vw.php, find:
      Code:
      $typewhere[] = vw_DB::get()->query()->eq($prep['s']['fields']['nodetypeid'], $nodetypeid);
      Replace with:
      Code:
      $subtypeid = $node['isPage'] ? vw_Hard_Core::model('Node')->id('Page') : $nodetypeid;
      			$typewhere[] = vw_DB::get()->query()->eq($prep['s']['fields']['nodetypeid'], $subtypeid);
