No, XenForo 2 requires a near-complete rewrite of VaultWiki for XenForo. We will post a news entry when support for XenForo 2 can be downloaded in a public Alpha. It is a lot of work, but we are working on it.

Ok, because we'll begin to plan an change/upgrade - process to XF2...
Hello Developers and Community,
I'll be patient as soon as VaultWiki for XF 2 is out. I have already installed XF2 on Rostockerblogger.de and unfortunately you can not use any XF1 legacy plugins anymore. That's why I often check Xenforo.com for new plugins for XF2.
I'm really looking forward to the development of XF and VaultWiki
My XenForo Forums incl. VaultWiki is: ->> Here
It is good to hear development has started . Hopefully some of the XF2 additions/changes simply the development complexities, like the What's new system (for tracking wiki changes) and Widgets (wiki sidebar blocks)? I can't imagine the kinds of things that must be considered for a multiplatform forum addon (vBulletin, XenForo 1 and 2).
We'd like to migrate over to XenForo 2 in the first half of 2018 but we will probably wait a bit longer (e.g. Q3) if VaultWiki XF2 development is ongoing.
I plan for Q4 2018 or Q1 2019. It took many years before VW was ready for XF1 and needed a lot of testing.
I too hope that XF widgets will be used, but most of all I hope that VW will be made easier to use for our members. It has become much too complex for the average forum user.
I see, interesting. I would assume that VaultWiki XF2 development would be shorter than XF1 merely based on being in the same XenForo ecosystem. Early in Q1 2018 we'll be moving our development site to XF2 (minus VaultWiki for now) so that custom site pages can be rebuilt. We're a Christmas-related site and see the highest traffic in late Q3-Q4, so when possible we do the bigger site changes in Q1-Q2. We only made the XenForo (1.x) switch in April this year, moving over from SMF.
I hear you, I would too like to see improvements to editing wiki pages, particularly the editing screen layout with a collapsed section of advanced options (treat page as, page icon), and easier section heading tools. Something like what I previously proposed based on XF2's URL edit/removal overlay in the following mock up image (assuming that the Froala editor in XF2 can easily be extended):
a)
b)
I'd also like to see some changes to how wiki edits are shown in the XenForo Recent activity page (What's new in XF2), with the edit description at minimum ignoring template code, and ideally insert text from the first edited paragraph on the page, for greater clarity over what has changed.
