Guests cant see the index

I am testing out usergroup permission and am encountering a strange issue with guest permissions. If I allow guests to view all pages through usergroup permissions (including the index) then they can see all except the index.
Is there something I am missing here? or is there a bug?

I can visit the wiki index as a guest user just fine, but I notice that the navbar link is missing as a guest.

This was a stale cache entry regarding the VaultWiki's navbar cache for guest users, which I have cleared. There are a great number of things that are supposed to clear this cache automatically:
- Changing any permission value
- Changing the wiki active state
- Changing URL-related settings
- Rebuilding URLs manually

If you encounter an error during any one of these actions, or an error during the settings deferred task (such as your constant issues with Credis), then it could interrupt the cache operations from taking place. However, I don't see anything in your logs except 40 pages of Credis timeouts, so it is difficult to know at think point where the problem lies. The cache should be relevant as long as none of the above changes. In the future, whenever you do any of the above, I would double-check how the navbar looks for guests; as it might help narrow down what caused it.
