Why is this query running on forum index?

I found this query running on forum index

      SELECT SUM(`pagecount`) AS `pagecount`, SUM(`attachcount`) AS `attachcount`, SUM(`redirectcount`) AS `redirectcount`, SUM(`bookcount`) AS `bookcount`, SUM(`categorycount`) AS `categorycount`, SUM(`templatecount`) AS `templatecount`, SUM(`editcount`) AS `editcount`, SUM(`views`) AS `views` FROM `vw_counter`

      Run Time: 0.010750

Its not extremely slow, but it does add render time. Is this needed on a page where no vaultwiki function is loaded?
If not then please turn this into an improvement request.

This query is occurring because you have wiki statistics showing on the forum index. The statistics information needs to be queried from somewhere before we can show it. The SUMs query runs only once per day; if the entry in data registry is less than a day old, the data registry query is the only one.

Please show me where the statistics are visible on forum index. I do not see it anywhere. I searched the page source and its not in there.

After some searching, I discovered that this is because your [bd] Widget Framework configuration is erasing existing blocks on the forum index. It is erasing the Forum Statistics block that contains the wiki stats and replacing it with one that doesn't. I have added a workaround for the next release. It should make the contents of the [bd] statistics more consistent with the contents of the forum statistics.
