promote to wiki article??

hello, we are considering to use this for a new upgrading project we are working on....may be a few questions along the way tho...


first off i was wondering if it is possible to swap this wiki into where vb4 article system is...so the promote to article could still be a thing, but instead it would be the wiki....how hard is this to do? does it require a custom coding?

This is also something we would like to do (replace vB4's article system with the wiki). While we are very close to emulating most of it with Wiki Feeds (instead of vB4's "Sections") and other wiki functions, there are still some items that we have not added yet:

• Back-date a wiki article or schedule it for later
• Promote threads/posts to a wiki article

These items are requests that have already been accepted, but if you don't feel you can live without either until they're ready, then you would have to do some custom coding. I can tell you that Promoting Threads/Posts is on the short-list of things to be added (it's #3 on my personal task list), but I cannot make any promises regarding how soon you might actually see it.
