Does VW4 import images otherthan attachments?

On VW3 there was no gallery function. Users could user 4 methods to include images in articles:
      1. vb attachments
      2. vb album images
      3. one of the 3 vb gallery addons: photopost / vbgallery / photoplog
      4. off site images

Which of the above are imported into the wiki by VW4 and which are not?
Is there any way to configure which are and which are not imported?

To be clear, there has actually been a gallery function since VaultWiki 2. But it became much easier to use in VaultWiki 4 due to the new editor dialog.

In addition to those kinds of attachments, vBulletin attachments are imported if they were directly attached to a VW3 wiki page using vBulletin's "Manage Attachments" button.

If a vBulletin attachment was placed on a wiki page using vBulletin 4, it was easier to use attachments that were directly attached to a different wiki page, or to a different post entirely. vBulletin's function did this by using a BB-Code that referenced the attachment's ID number in the database. However, this ID number usually breaks after an import, so we do a conversion of this as well.

Other "gallery" types like vB albums, photopost, vbgallery, etc, have historically stored their images safely in another location (i.e. a gallery), rather than being directly attached to a pre-import wiki page that is usually deleted after the import. No conversion is currently provided for these types of images. However, I can see where this might become an issue when migrating away from vBulletin, where the entirety of the original vBulletin installation might eventually be removed.

Images in wiki will stop workin in the following situations:
      - if its still in vbalbum and the album permissions are changed.
      - if its imported from vbalbum or a gallery to a XF or IPB system and there is no redirection file. This is currently the problem with the most popular XF gallery XMG.
      - offsite images which are eventually removed. A cache similar to what XF has would be useful.
