We actually have not considered that specifically. We have mainly been focusing on which forums we want to support, as we have always discussed VaultWiki's benefits in terms of how it can improve the forum experience as a social wiki. These benefits are not so clear in the way many people traditionally think of Wordpress.

I would be interested to hear your thoughts on this. What problems in Wordpress can be resolved with VaultWiki? I had never considered Wordpress to be very social, and VaultWiki has typically expected a community that will make use of it, rather than say 1 or 2 users writing their blogs, news feeds, or life stories (even though that's how our parent company uses it).

I'm not 100% sure about this. WordPress has a massive deployment which makes it interesting. It also has community solutions like bbpress, buddypress, and integrates with various open source community solutions.
Personally I have no use for it, but if VW can be deployed in a WordPress installation in a useful way then that would give VW quite a lot of customers. It may be a long shot but is worth thinking about.

WordPress has many forum plugins as well as social plugins. So the social aspect is there. In fact much more than vbulletin, xenforo and IPS will ever have combined. Just the main 2 forum plugins on WP have over half a million ACTIVE installs.
And social Learning Management Systems are a big thing on WordPress. There are hundreds of thousands of WordPress websites offering LMS. A wiki would fit right in.

Then there also is the ease of collaboration with wiki, as a wiki allows multiple staff members to write an article. Thats attractive.
A wiki can also be used as an internal corporate tool. For example to have multiple staff members write texts for the WordPress website (product texts, articles, etc) or for other purposes. There are millions of websites that could use a wiki.

There are very simple wiki plugins for WP, but nothing good.Vaultwiki would be a massive hit on WP.
