I recently upgraded to 4.2 and noticed that the wiki tab disappeared, as well as the settings for it in the wiki panel. Is this normal? If so, I think there should be a pre-made tab for vB 4.2.

You have to upgrade VaultWiki after you upgrade vBulletin in order to generate the appropriate records in vB's new 'navigation' table. Just run the upgrade script.
