Not sure if it did, I had to update paypal information. After I did, it sent me back to paypal's new homepage, so I thought it was complete but no transaction is shown in my paypal home. But members area says there's a pending order.

Our web site registers that a transaction is "Pending" when you click the "Checkout via PayPal" button on our web site. If a payment was made, this status would change to "Completed" once the payment is approved. However, if you click to cancel the order from the link on PayPal's web site, then this status changes to "Cancelled" and your cart is restored on our site.
From what I understand, if there was a payment submitted via a registered PayPal account, the payment should show up as Pending in your PayPal account, under recent transactions. If the transaction was never actually submitted, like if PayPal forgot about it when you were updating your information, then this is something you might want to tell them about in their site feedback. Aside from forwarding the contents of your cart initially, unfortunately we have no control over what happens after you are already on PayPal's site.
In cases where this happens, we receive no notification that a transaction was completed, and no indication that it was cancelled. Such a transaction would show as Pending in our records indefinitely, but I believe it will disappear from the "Recent Transactions" widget you see on the Members tab after 30 days or so.
After some investigation, if you are satisfied that no payment was actually made, you can just start over by adding the items to your cart again.
