XF alerts for approval of moderated contributions?

In VW4 admin there is an setting to send a PM on approval of a moderated contribution.
Is this a valid setting for XF? I assume that the XF alerts system is used. Is it not?

The XF alerts system is used for certain things such as likes, new comments, etc, and this is configurable via the standard XF alert settings page.

But you can also choose an email notifications and manage other options (not necessarily related to alerts) as well. There is a per-user setting for the notification types a user wants to use on the Account settings page in XF, under Wiki > Preferences. If the user is part of the wiki moderator group, there are settings for those alerts as well.

Will moderated wiki content show up in the XF moderation bar?

It's supposed to. Whether there is a bug with it or not I can't be sure as we don't use a moderation queue here.

Great. That will be a major improvement because moderated edits will be immediately come under the attention of the moderator.
